The Flaming Lips at Summerstage

Last night I had the pleasure of seeing the The Flaming Lips at Summerstage. This was my second time seeing them and they were even better than I’d remembered. With confetti cannons, a human hamster ball, the gaggle of orange clad dancers and a microphone strapped with a webcam it was like a psychedelic circus with Manhattan as a backdrop.

Here’s the thing – I WANT to like this movie. A movie about the back story of Facebook sounds pretty interesting. However, am I the only one who thinks this trailer looks like a bad parody of what the movie is supposed to be about?

How Twilight Works

I admittedly read the entire Twilight series. Proceeded to see the first two movies, and even bought the first one on DVD, even though I thought it sucked. I even have an Edward action figure. I can’t explain it. I’m not proud.

And yes, you bet I am planning on seeing Eclipse in the theater. Will you?
