Teenage Dream Cover Is Better Than Original
Posted on 15. Sep, 2010 by Karri Wells.
I think this cover of Teenage Dream by Wendy is actually better than Katy Perry‘s original. They have a couple more covers over on their YouTube channel, including a pretty good version of Justin Bieber’s ‘Baby’.
Like what you hear? You can download the free MP3 of the song over at http://wendy.bandcamp.com/

Backyard Brunch Sessions – Person L & The Courtesy Tier
Posted on 26. Aug, 2010 by Karri Wells.
I’ve blogged about next door Dave and his Backyard Brunch Sessions before. I love this project so much. Each week it’s something different, and it’s so cool to experience seeing these artists in such an intimate setting. You must check out the performance by Person L. This has probably been my favorite performance so far, these guys were so much fun to watch.
You can download audio of the full show over at nyctaper. Listen about a minute into the 8th track for a special treat, where the band breaks out into a cover of Jay Sean’s ‘Down‘.

Lauren + JP – The Coolest Wedding Video Ever
Posted on 29. Jul, 2010 by Karri Wells.
This is by far one of the coolest wedding videos I’ve ever seen. Set to Passion Pit‘s Sleepyhead, it’s more like a music video than your standard wedding recap reel. What a fun way to remember your big day.

Did you have a videographer at your wedding? What did you do with the footage?
