OMG – as if I needed another reason to totally drool over Ryan Gossling. He acts, he makes beards ridiculously sexy and now he SINGS! Cool tidbit about the band – they find a children’s choir in each town they tour to do the background vocals.

Florence played in Brooklyn earlier this month, and I am still kicking myself for missing the show. I have a feeling this chica is incredible live. She has quite the voice. Take a listen to her most recent album, appropriately named “Lungs.”

My new cool friend Katie introduced me to this band. Her taste in music is impeccable. She has a music blog called Broken Tambourine, that you should all check out.

Dawes - When My Time Comes
I saw Dawes open for Langhorne Slim earlier this month. They are good to listen to, but not so great to watch. The whole band makes really awkward “sex faces.” If you’ve ever seen John Mayer perform live you know exactly what I’m talking about.
